[00:07.42]A mulberry leaf touched with the genius of man becomes silk.
[00:13.29]A field of clay touched with the genius of man becomes a castle.
[00:18.88]A Cyprus tree touched with the genius of man becomes a shrine.
[00:24.44]A cut of sheep's hair touched with the genius of man
[00:29.44]becomes raiment for a king.
[00:32.40] If it is possible for leaves and clay and wood and hair
[00:38.16]to have their value multiplied a hundred，
[00:40.99] yea a thousandfold by man，
[00:44.82] cannot I do the same with the clay which bears my name?
[00:48.76]Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.
[00:53.45]I am liken to a grain of wheat
[00:56.52]which faces one of three futures.
[00:59.43]The wheat can be placed in a sack and dumped in a stall
[01:03.79] until it is fed to swine.
[01:06.50]Or it can be ground to flour and made into bread.
[01:11.27]Or it can be placed in the earth and allowed to grow
[01:15.97]until its golden head divides and produces
[01:19.45] a thousand grains from the one.
[01:21.79]I am liken to a grain of wheat with one difference.
[01:26.45]The wheat cannot choose whether it be fed to swine，
[01:30.04] ground for bread， or planted to multiply.
[01:33.71] I have a choice and I will not let my life be fed to swine nor will I
[01:40.36]let it be ground under the rocks of failure and despair
[01:44.44] to be broken open and devoured by the will of others.
[01:48.74]Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.
[01:53.92]To grow and multiply it is necessary to plant the wheat grain
[01:59.50]in the darkness of the earth and my failures， my despairs，
[02:03.96] my ignorance， and my inabilities are the darkness
[02:08.95]in which I have been planted in order to ripen.
[02:12.21] Now，like the wheat grain which will sprout and blossom
[02:16.60]only if it is nurtured with rain and sun and warm winds，
[02:21.40] I too must nurture my body and mind to fulfill my dreams.

[02:30.71]the wheat must wait on the whims of nature.
[02:34.27] I need not wait for I have the power to choose my own destiny.
[02:40.87]Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.
[02:46.38]And how will I accomplish this?
[02:49.22] First I will set goals for the day，
[02:52.65] the week， the month， the year，
[02:55.25]and my life. Just as the rain must fall
[02:59.66]before the wheat will crack its shell and sprout，
[03:03.34] so must I have objectives before my life will crystallize.
[03:08.08]In setting my goals I will consider
[03:11.02]my best performance of the past and multiply it a hundredfold.
[03:16.08]This will be the standard by which I will live in the future.
[03:20.63]Never will I be of concern
[03:23.28] that my goals are too high for
[03:26.01] is it not better to aim my spear at the moon
[03:29.49]and strike only an eagle than to
[03:32.52]aim my spear at the eagle and strike only a rock?
